F.A.Q.

What are your opening hours ?
We start flights at 10AM and finish at 5PM. We are open 6 days a week, closed on Sundays. Our passengers choose the time they wish to fly! Rather than scheduled flights, we offer flights to suit our passengers.

Is it safe ?
We are as interested in safety as you are. Our duty is to minimize risks by making safety our primary focus and at the same time, to provide memorable experiences for our passengers.
At Aruba Heli-Tours, our passengers’ safety is of the utmost importance, it always comes first. We have a 100% safety record and have never been issued a reprimand or non-compliance. We are a current AOC holder and embrace the regulations, however we believe these regulations are a bare minimum. Our operations are subject to a higher level of safety, exceeding the regulatory requirements. All passengers are given a thorough safety briefing prior to flight, including the operation of doors, seatbelts and general safety awareness around the helicopter.

Can you fly us abroad ?
Due to our Air Operator Certificate we are limited to local flights.

Do we share the helicopter with other passengers?
Because quality is very important to us, we offer you “private seating“. With “private seating”, passengers will have the helicopter to themselves (minimum 2 passengers required, maximum 3 passengers).

Can we bring a camera ?
Please do! Any “point & shoot” camera or any 35mm SLR camera with a lens between 28mm and 70mm will do. And of course you also can bring your video camera!

Does everyone get a window seat?
Aruba Heli-Tours guarantees window seats to all passengers.

How far in advance do we need to book?
We recommend you to book as early as possible, this will give you a greater choice in flight time. We recommend to book your flight upon arrival on Aruba, or even better, when you plan your vacation. If you book your helicopter flight at the beginning of your stay, you will be able to reschedule if circumstances so dictate. Call us directly at (+297) 731 9999!

What if the weather is bad on the day of my flight?
If the weather conditions are not right for flying, the flight will be rescheduled at a time that is convenient for everyone. Please note it’s the pilot’s call.

Will the pilot give us information?
Aruba Heli-Tours pilots give expert, up to date information on the history and intriguing facts of the Aruba region and also point out sites of interest on the island.
